Healer of the Broken in Heart

To the broken hearted….. I know the pain. I know what it feels like to feel rejection & a pain so deep, only tears are the words you can speak.

Pain is a part of this world. It’s the product of sinful people who make bad choices. Choices that come with consequences. Sometimes others choices affect our lives, too. Which leaves us  broken, hurt & confused. Are you this broken-hearted person today? I want to speak something into your soul right now, something so powerful I pray your heart forever knows this truth.

Your broken heart is not the end. Something beautiful is being made from the broken.

I love that God’s word is the place I can always seek truth from. That it’s not only a beautiful story book of God’s strength & love, but that so many promises lie beyond the surface. Here’s the promise you can hang on to. Write it down on a notecard & stick it where you can see it. Put it as your wallpaper on your phone. Share it with others. Highlight it in your Bible.

{ He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. } Psalm 147:3

Our God is the healer of the broken in heart. He doesn’t say “deal with it… deal with it all alone..” but he beckons us to Him in the sweet whisper, “come to me ALL who are burdened… in ME you will find rest.” (Matthew 11:28) He lovingly & without conditions says, “I love you so much, I DIED for you…”. He gently allows us to cast ALL of our cares on Him… because HE cares. (Psalm 55:22)

But before He can heal us, make us new, restore the broken pieces, He must HOLD our hearts. We must surrender our complete hearts into His hands. We do this by trusting Him, FULLY. By placing Him as number 1 in our lives. By placing our identity & worth in the one who created & knitted your heart together in the first place.

So to the broken hearted…. you are cared for & loved for by the maker of the stars & the healer of your heart. Simply let go… & let God. Let him heal you, renew you & grow you in Him daily. & when you look back you will see, this rejection was just a redirection.
