A Thankful Heart is a Happy Heart

When you overflow with gratitude and thankfulness you overflow with joy.

What things are you thinking on throughout your day? As you are in the drive thru, as you are at work, as you sit at the lunch table at school, as you do your homework, what things do you think about?
What you think and meditate on is what you say and what you say is a reflection of who you are and who you’re reflecting should be JESUS, so are you reflecting Jesus with your thoughts?

Philippians 4:8 tells us exactly what things we should be thinking on.

” Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. ”

{ If you think positively, you will have a positive heart. If you think about your blessings, you will have a thankful heart. }

Stop and think about what you have and you will stop and thank God for what you have. -Pastor Anthony Mangun
What we think about will determine what kind of heart we have.

If we think about all the bad things that happen in life and the trials you go through, instead of the blessings in every day, you will have an ungrateful heart.

But if you choose each day to think about and be grateful for every blessing, you will have a grateful heart.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 | In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Reasons to be thankful:

1 Chronicles 16:34 | O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.

(1) God doesn’t change when our circumstances do. (Hebrews 13:8)
(2) We can give thanks in EVERYTHING because our God is unchanging and his mercy endureth forever.
Philippians 4:6 | Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

(3) We have a God who listens to our every request & gives us everything we need because he is ALL we need.

I challenge you this Thanksgiving season, to truly COUNT each and every blessing & thank God for who he is & what he has done.

Let’s cultivate grateful hearts together, sweet friends!!

I love each and every one of you awesome world changers & I’m so thankful for you all!

Xoxo, Rose
