He Knows Every Need Before We Need It

Today I will be sharing a guest post by my beautiful and sweet friend, Des!! She has such a beautiful heart for God and I’m so excited to share this post with you!

God knows what we need before we even ask Him. He already knows every single thing that we must have in our lives.

He knows our physical needs such as food, water & clothes.

He knows our spiritual needs. Our need for forgiveness of our sins, our need to draw closer to Him, and the need to be fulfilled in His Word.

He knows our emotional needs. The need to feel loved, to be confident, to be approved of and appreciated.

He knows our social needs such as making friends and having someone to turn to.

How amazing is that? It may seem impossible for God to know our every need from the really big ones to the teeny tiny ones. But He does! He delights to meet our needs. He’s the only one who can!
Whatever we need He will make happen if it’s according to His glorious plan. Now, sometimes we can confuse our needs with our wants. Our needs and wants are totally opposite from each other so we must understand that if we ask for something and God strictly says “no”, it was just something we wanted that He knew we didn’t really need. He hates to make us upset, but He won’t let us have something that will hurt us or cause pain. We are His precious children and God only gives the very best to His children.
So don’t be discouraged if He doesn’t give you something you ask for. He’s just planning something much greater for the future!

Always remember that our biggest need isn’t new shiny stuff, a cool friend or the feeling of being approved of….
Our biggest need is The Lord himself! That is the only thing that will truly satisfy our souls.
Our loving Heavenly Father will always give us what we need as this Bible verse clearly states that:

Philippians‬ ‭4:19
19 My God will richly fill your every need in a glorious way through Christ Jesus.
