1 Timothy 4:12
12 Don’t let anyone look down on you for being young. Instead, make your speech, behavior, love, faith, and purity an example for other believers.
Sometimes we may think that we’re at a disadvantage being young, that we just need to wait until we’re older to worry about how we act, what we say or do and even talking to others about God might just seem pointless right now. But the opposite is true!
As Christian girls maturing in their faith, this is the time we should start setting an example for the ones around us. Yes we may be young but that shouldn’t stop us! People may look down on us, but we can’t let that discourage us from being the girl God has called us to be! We have to be an example for others in all that we do. From the way we act to the way we talk to others. From the way we show love & kindness to the way we behave and everything in between. Now, that is a really big challenge. But when you focus on what God calls you to do & say, it doesn’t seem that hard anymore. We have to remember how He wants us to act. Who He calls us to be not who the world calls us to be. We must set an example for others on a daily bases. So even though we may be young now, we can still make a difference in this world. Let’s be the generation that is an example for everyone. It’s what we’re called to do.
“The best way to show people that God is everything we say He is…
Is for us to be everything He says we are.
Be an example.”
“Declaring our testimony is good, but being a living example of the gospel is better.”
